Growing....

Things are great here! Eliza just keeps growing and growing. We got her a bouncer(thanks Kelly) and she LOVES it. We tried rice cereal for the first time and it went really well. She really likes it and just laughed the whole time(everything is soo funny to her). Dave was getting Eliza ready for church Sunday and I overheard him saying"We have to get you ready for church." She starts laughing and he says, "Oh, you like church don't you? You are going to fit in perfectly at the convent!" Haha!

In other news, we bought a house on 15 acres near a town called Malmo (about 10 miles northwest of Wahoo). We close at the end of May. It's a fixer upper so Dave is ready to dig right in. The country around it is beautiful and I cannot wait for the peace and quiet(minus the sounds of powertools and sledgehammers). We took Cooper out there the other day, and he was in Heaven. Can't wait to get out of this 1 bedroom apartment!

Picture day......

So, we went to get pictures taken yesterday at JC Penny. Every day at home Eliza is constantly smiling and laughing...almost every picture we have of her, she is smiling. Yet, we get there and she REFUSES to smile. In fact she cried most of the time. The second we walk out, she's laughing and smiling. Little turd. My Mom says that she must somehow have some of me in her. Hmmm....she may be right.

Easter and More......

We had a great Easter and enjoyed the beautiful weather! Eliza is doing well. She loves to laugh and smile and thinks everything we say is funny, which is great. I have been home with her since graduation and it is WONDERFUL! We've been going for walks and doing lots of shopping(one of Eliza's favorite things to do..haha). I really really don't want to get a job, but I am thinking about part-time so I can have the best of both worlds. We will just have to wait and see where God leads me! Otherwise all is well here in the Quinn household. We are starting to look at houses as our lease is up in July. I can't wait to get out of this one bedroom apartment so Eliza can finally have her own room! Hopefully we can find something soon.

Getting Big....

Eliza has changed soo much in the past month. She is up to 13lbs and counting! We love playing with her and making her laugh and smile. She had a rough week being sick but seems to be back to herself today. (Thank God! Mom was getting worried!) Life is great and we are loving every minute of parenthood.

It took me 10 minutes to get her all bundled up on the 1st nice day outside and by the time I was finished...she was passed out! It was hillarious. She looked like a "pink nightmare"..haha!

Wow, life is busy with a new baby. We haven't posted anything FOREVER. Eliza is getting chunky....and we LOVE it! Up to 10lbs4oz on Wednesday!She has been spending a lot more time awake now and we love taking lots of pictures! Had to pack up her Newborn clothes the other day...it was pretty sad:( She is doing great and is cuter than ever. She was baptized a couple Sunday's ago and we had a great time getting together with family and friends. We had to do a photo shoot of some of her newborn outfits before they got packed away. Only 5 more weeks and I will be home with her! It cannot come fast enough........
