I am in love with everything about you. Your blue eyes and little curls are just too much. I remember dreaming about what our baby would look like. I never imagined a child as beautiful as you. You're soo funny. Always trying to tickle Dad and I. Getting soo excited every time you see "Elbow" on Sesame Street. Head-banging to music. Saying "Oh, Wow" when Dad and I tell you something interesting. Making bubble hats in the bathtub. Giving me "lizard kisses" followed by your cute little laugh when I tuck you in at night. Getting excited and giggling every time you see the kitties. You love to climb on everything and get in to everything. You have to have all 4 babies sitting by you on the couch. You LOVE to watch the Babies movie and "ooh and ahhh" over every little one on there. You always want to wear your boots. You say shoes like you are Jewish and I crack up every time. You have a huge heart. When you pull Coopers hair and he growls at you, you follow with a growl back at him but then a kiss. You are just precious and we are soo blessed that God chose us for you. I love you my baby girl. My only request is, Can you please stay this little forever?

Wow, it has been entirely too long since I last posted. Time flies by way too fast for me to keep up. Eliza is growing and changing like crazy! She is starting to repeat everything we say. So now we really have to watch what comes out of our mouths. Haha. The house is SLOWLY but surely coming along. We are still in the basement, but hope to be upstairs soon. This summer has been fairly laid back for us. Just enjoying the country life:)

Country Love
Not a whole lot of exciting things going on here. Still slowly making progress on the house. I HOPE to be moved upstairs within the next month. We'll see what happens. Otherwise we have just been enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather and spending lots of time outside. I love everything about the country, but it's quiet and strange beauty are my favorite things. I snapped a few pics of my favorite places around the property.

It's March already?!?!?!
There have been a lot of crazy things going on in the Quinn household! Our first crazy experience, burning down the shed. What I thought would be a nice, smaller sized bonfire, turned into a crazy, flaming, near disaster. I was downstairs when the boys started the fire. I could hardly believe my eyes when I came up to see this......
Believe it or not, the fire did actually slow down fairly quickly. By 9 pm the fire was down to just embers and Dave and I were downstairs watching a little TV before bed. About 10ish, Dave went up to check on the fire. A few seconds later, he comes sprinting down the stairs frantically yelling "The barn is on fire!" Yeah. Better believe it. Our barn started on fire. Dave was there just in time to put it out with a bucket of water. Thank God for our Guradian Angels! A few minutes later and we would have been putting in a call to the fire department. All I can say is good thing it wasn't the house!
A lot has been going on with Miss Eliza. She is changing soo much every day. She is really starting to pick up on the things we do. She was very curious about my DustBuster, so I showed her how to use it. It just took one demo and she was a pro. She was soo cute I could have died. Gotta start training em' young!
Last weekend, we had our friends the Ronhovde's over. Their oldest, our beautiful God daugter Gabby, is a little over a year and a half. And they have a new little guy, Lane who is about 5 months. Eliza had a lot of fun playing with Gabby. Their favorite thing to do was for Eliza to push her around in the car. They both laughed and laughed. It was pretty fun to watch, plus it kept them entertained for quite awhile:)
He is just too cute!
And finally the most exciting thing of all.....Guess who's finally walking?!?! She took her first "official" steps a few nights ago. It's soo fun to watch her grow and change. She is such a joyful little baby. She brings me the most incredible peace and happiness. It still amazes me that I am Finally a Mother. How am I soo blessed with such a gift? Sometimes, my face hurts from smiling soo much when I watch her. It doesn't feel right that she's old enough to be walking. Wasn't it just yesterday I was holding a little 5 1/2 pound baby in my arms? And now I'm chasing her around the room. Time goes by too quickly. I am trying to soak in every moment because before I know it, she will be a teenager and then the "real fun" will begin.

WARNING: The following pictures contain partial nudity. Viewer Discretion is Advised.
Just couldn't resist snapping this photo. Dave was giving Eliza a bath and he dropped the cup out the side. So Eliza decided she had to stand up and look. Who doesn't love a pic of a cute, little, naked baby butt?
Showing off the ADORABLE new robe from Christine.
Nothing new and exciting to share here. Just a few new pics:) We can hardly believe how much Eliza is growing. At her 1 year check-up she weighed 26lbs and measured 31 inches long(90% for both)! She changes so much every day. She now says Mom, Dad, Wee-Wee-Wee, Yum-Yum and Dog(well at least we think thats what she says when she points to Cooper). We are trying to get her to say Ball..but she's too stubborn. She's getting closer to walking...but still a little too scared to go it alone. She is quite the little dancer now and you can find her bopping around anytime she hears music. She is way too much fun and we are having a blast with her!

1 year later.....
Yesterday we got to meet up with Christine to celebrate a late Birthday/Christmas for Eliza. It was the first time we had seen here since we took Eliza home from the hospital. Eliza took to Christine right away. Almost as if she knew who she was. It was so cool to see. We had a great time. We went to Chuck E Cheese for awhile and Christine took Eliza on a few rides there...which she loved. Then we went out to eat afterwards. Eliza's half brother and sister Robert and Christina joined us as well. It was soo good to see everyone. We love Christine to pieces and know we are soo very blessed to have her in our lives. Here are just a few pics from the day.

Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas; first on Christmas Day with Dave's family, then the following day with The Edmondsons. It was great getting to spend time with family and enjoy one another. Both Grandmas and Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles made sure to spoil Eliza with lots of love and some pretty neat gifts too. I wish we would have taken more pictures, but I was running on about 2 hours of sleep-as I had worked Christmas Eve night shift, and I didn't really think about getting out the camera:) I made sure though that we got a picture (or 2 or 3) of Eliza in her beautiful Christmas dress though. I couldnt decide which was the cutest, so I am posting all of my favorites. Haha. Enjoy!
