1 year later.....

Yesterday we got to meet up with Christine to celebrate a late Birthday/Christmas for Eliza. It was the first time we had seen here since we took Eliza home from the hospital. Eliza took to Christine right away. Almost as if she knew who she was. It was so cool to see. We had a great time. We went to Chuck E Cheese for awhile and Christine took Eliza on a few rides there...which she loved. Then we went out to eat afterwards. Eliza's half brother and sister Robert and Christina joined us as well. It was soo good to see everyone. We love Christine to pieces and know we are soo very blessed to have her in our lives. Here are just a few pics from the day.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas; first on Christmas Day with Dave's family, then the following day with The Edmondsons. It was great getting to spend time with family and enjoy one another. Both Grandmas and Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles made sure to spoil Eliza with lots of love and some pretty neat gifts too. I wish we would have taken more pictures, but I was running on about 2 hours of sleep-as I had worked Christmas Eve night shift, and I didn't really think about getting out the camera:) I made sure though that we got a picture (or 2 or 3) of Eliza in her beautiful Christmas dress though. I couldnt decide which was the cutest, so I am posting all of my favorites. Haha. Enjoy!

Birthday Girl

One year ago today, our prayers were answered and we received a beautiful little baby girl. It doesn't seem possible that it has been a year. Eliza, you are the love of our lives. You bring us a joy that we never thought possible..and that we weren't sure if we would ever get to experience:) Every single day we Thank God for you...and especially for Christine for chosing us, for you. You are our Christmas Miracle. We love you baby girl! P.S. Guess who walked for the 1st time yesterday?!?!...ok it was with assistance, but still. She was soo proud-as were we! Click on the links below to check out the video..and a couple videos from today:)

New pics/update

Lots of new changes here in the Quinn Household. The first week of November,I started a new job at the Saunders County Medical Center in Wahoo, Ne working part-time on the night shift. I really enjoy it and am glad to finally be starting my nursing career! That same week, we moved into our new house. The upstairs was not really move in ready so we made the basement like a studio apartment and will probably be living there through the winter. Eliza turns 1 on Thursday! This year has flown by entirely too quickly. Our little girl is growing up...too fast.

We made Eliza put on Daves mullet wig on Halloween

Go Big Red!

How many Quinns does it take.......????

A few pictures of the eventful beam installation on Sunday at the house. It took the 3 Quinn boys about 4 hours. It made me a little nervous..but nobody ended up injured..so I was happy!

A couple new videos and pictures

The first video is about 4 minutes long. We were trying to get her standing up, which of course she was doing before I started taking the video. So, if you can sit through those 4 minutes, she does FINALLY stand up at the end. :) The second is her riding the horse at Grandmas. Enjoy.
